        M80 Capacity Improvements – Princes Freeway to Western FreewayM80 Capacity Improvements – Princes Freeway to Western Freeway Client Type: Subcontractor 
 Subcontract Value: $1.7 millionOur Role: PillarPoint was engaged by subcontractors delivering works under the M80 Capacity Improvements program. While engaged by the subcontractor, we worked closely with the principal contractor’s delivery team to align programs, QA documentation, and commercial requirements. Our services included detailed BOQ preparation, program development, contract reviews, and ongoing advisory support throughout delivery. Scope of Works: 
 The subcontractor’s package included the construction of all gantry foundations for the Lane Use Guide (LUG) gantries. Works required:Installation of reinforcement steel and large hold-down bolts; Forming and placement of concrete foundations; Delivering across both day and night shifts to meet program requirements; Coordinating with the principal contractor to resolve complex site issues in real time. Outcome: Through structured documentation and commercial oversight, PillarPoint supported the subcontractor in maintaining contract stability and successfully securing variation entitlements. Our advisory role helped bridge subcontractor delivery with principal contractor expectations, reducing exposure to disputes and ensuring smooth and timely delivery of critical program works.

        Boral Bulleen Concrete PlantClient Type: Subcontractor 
 Project Value: $1.9 millionOur Role: PillarPoint was engaged by the subcontractor delivering a design & construct package for Boral’s Bulleen Concrete Plant. While engaged by the subcontractor, we worked closely with Boral’s project team to align commercial, design, and delivery requirements. Our consulting scope included D&C contract advice, BOQ preparation, program development, and site-based advisory support. Scope of Works: 
 The subcontractor’s delivery package included civil works, formwork/reinforcement/pour (FRP), tilt-up panel installation, inground pits and tanks, and large-area heavy-duty concrete driveways.Outcome: By supporting the subcontractor with structured documentation, programming, and commercial oversight, we helped secure contract stability and ensured alignment with Boral’s expectations. This enabled our client to confidently deliver a diverse and complex scope under a D&C framework, while maintaining clarity on scope, cost, and quality.

        Parkdale Station Precinct – Level Crossing Removal ProjectClient Type: Subcontractor 
 Subcontract Value: $1.1 millionOur Role: PillarPoint was engaged by a subcontractor delivering works within the Parkdale Station precinct as part of the Level Crossing Removal Project. We provided estimating, program, and commercial consulting support, working closely with the principal contractor’s delivery team to align requirements while ensuring our client’s position was protected. Scope of Works: 
 The subcontractor’s package included a range of common-area and finishing works, such as:Installation of kerbs and shared user paths (SUPs); Placement of concrete furniture; Delivery of decorative concrete finishes throughout the precinct. Outcome: This package was highly complex, with multiple interfaces and shifting requirements. PillarPoint played a key role in maintaining transparency and ensuring the subcontractor’s scope, costs, and entitlements were recognised. By holding the principal contractor to fair commercial terms, we helped our client avoid cost exposure and recover rightful variations — all while keeping delivery on track and compliant with program requirements.

        Eastern Freeway UpgradesClient Type: Subcontractor 
 Subcontract Value: $5 million (ongoing)Our Role: PillarPoint is currently engaged by a subcontractor delivering major structural packages as part of the Eastern Freeway Upgrades. Acting in a delivery support capacity, we are providing planning, commercial oversight, and on-site management as site superintendent. Our involvement bridges office-based documentation with site-based execution, ensuring consistency between contractual obligations and field delivery. Scope of Works: 
 The subcontractor’s package includes:Construction of noise wall footings; Delivery of bridging structure works; Coordination of site teams and subcontract trades under complex freeway conditions. Current Progress: 
 This package is ongoing. PillarPoint continues to support our client in meeting program milestones, maintaining quality compliance, and managing site interfaces. By combining planning discipline with on-site delivery oversight, we help reinforce our subcontractor client’s ability to deliver confidently on a challenging $5m package.

        Domestic Renovations & RepairsClient Type: Homeowners & Domestic Builders 
 Project Values: Ranged from $20,000 to $500,000Our Involvement: 
 While working with various Homeowners, subcontractors and domestic builders, our team was directly involved in a wide variety of domestic renovation and repair projects across Victoria. These included structural rectifications, interior and exterior repairs, and detailed finishing works. Our role covered estimating, procurement, contract management, and site coordination — ensuring works were priced accurately, planned effectively, and delivered to client expectations.Scope of Works: 
 The types of works included:Structural and cosmetic repairs to residential properties; Small-scale renovations such as bathrooms, kitchens, and extensions; Concrete and external works, including driveways and pathways; Preventative maintenance and rectification of defects for domestic builders and private homeowners. Outcome: This broad exposure to domestic works gave us firsthand understanding of the challenges homeowners face when engaging builders and trades. Today, PillarPoint applies this experience to provide independent advice and structured engagement frameworks that help homeowners budget accurately, set fair terms, and protect their investment before works begin.
